i just wanted to give my impressions of the generic dynamat type product i threw in my doors. Its generic name is peel and seal, but the product name itself is protecto wrap. I just used a roll each on each door, and i believe each roll is 6" x 25' for $12 and change at lowes. While the affect on road noise isnt amazing by any stretch of the imagination, the fact that my doors are matted now reveals how loud other parts of the car really are. More importantly, my mids sound 50 percent better than before the application.
A few notes: Its not the thickest sound deadening material out there - about on par with original dynamat. Also, its adhesive straight rocks. I didnt have to use a hairdryer or any other type of tool to apply it, and layering was easy as hell.
