Hey, Im looking to buy a older Pathfinder, I'm currently looking at a 1993 Pathfinder with the 3.0L V6, It has 300,000km on it, I was looking for some insight on the durability of that engine. It runs like a charm and drives like one too, any thing I should be concerned about, Pros? Cons?

Thanks

Dude, I had a 95' VG30 Pathy with unknown mileage. These engines have there issues, as with all, but as for as it goes. With very little mantainence, such as timing belt, cam and crank seals, and frame rust. And ooohhh yeah. The lifters will go down on ya around 200,000 miles, and it'll sound like it's gonna throw one through the valve cover at cha, but it won't. Replace them in no time and drive it like you stole it. These jewels are bulletproof. The internals of these things are unmatched. Mine probably had around 300,000 miles on it and right before I sold it, I did a compression test on it and it still had 165 PSI! Across it! Didn't use a drop of any fluid.!

That's my experience!!
