Unless you're willing to pay for a special oven, etc. etc., just take it to a shop and let them powdercoat it for you.

Electrostatically charged powder will adhere to a grounded metal part. The part is then heated to 350° - 400°F and the powder melts and "flows out" forming a durable finish upon cooling.
Your better off just going to a powder coating place and have them do it. The prices arent that high.

you can get a kit for eastwood.com that lets you do powder coating at home the only catch is you cannot use the same oven you cook in
