Hello, my first posting. My sister-in-law has a 2001 Nissan Sentra SE which I believe has a 2.0 liter motor ("B" in VIN). Every thread I read asks about the location of the crank sensor on a 1.8 liter motor. Is there a thread here somewhere describing the removal and replacing of the crank sensor on the 2.0 liter motor? Thank you very much. These cars a re new to me. Ody
If you stand in front of the vehicle, look down at the transmission bellhousing near where it mounts to the engine block, slightly towards the radiator side of engine. You should be able to see it; the crankshaft position sensor mounts through a hole in the bellhousing to read the flywheel and is held in with a single, 10mm head bolt.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
