does a oil cooler make sense installing on a almost stock GA16? i usually drive my car at high RPM's i was wondering if i should install one to help with performance as i know when the oil gets too hot, you tend to loose power.

They say you don't even need an oil cooler on a turbo, unless you're doing some serious racing.. why would you need one on an almost stock GA16de?

Go search a bit, it'll help answer your question.

they are used alot on turbos and trucks. think about this, your oil may thin out when hot but i doubt you are getting it hot enough, the factory had the temp rise in mind when they designed the car. also if you have an oil cooler on your car and its too cold out your oil will be to think at operating temp and it can gum up. unless you race on a road course (not auto-x) there is no need.
