Just wondering if someone has some insight as to why my 95' pathfinder (auto) on both slow speeds and highway speeds, but more noticeably on slow speeds does this surging when i accelerate at low to modest levels. I replaced all spark-plugs, found no vac leaks, took apart throttle body. A buddy said to check the 02 sensor, saying it can pass on emissions but send surging inputs to the ECU. How would you check it other than a scanner? It checks out fine on my scanner. Said something about grounding one of the wires if the truck dies then it need to be replaced. Anyone done this?

I would check ignition wires (plug wires)

I use my hand or just replace them all when this starts happening

sounds like the recommendation is to use a piece of wire that is grounded to the chassis and touch it to the outsides of the plug wires and see which one causes a fault.
