Nismo14-180 is right. As long as you swap the same ecu you'll be okay.
However, if you decide to go with the 96 and up OBDII, the greddy TD06-20G turbo kit will bolt up and plug right into the ecu. But that only matters if you decide to upgrade to turbo.
