what brand are you using for the replacement. a bosch is around 56.00 and a denso is 81.00 or more. looks like I have to take off the heat shield to get at the sensor. my sentra is running great, I thought it might just help more on the mileage. i'm getting 29-31 on it.

How many miles does your car have ? Is the sensor on the exhaust manifold heated (3-wire) ? Those last about 100,000 miles. The OEM recommended sensor is Bosch, I wanted to try the NGK sensor, I like their iridium spark plugs a lot, they look brand new after a year in my car.

re

i think it is a heated. and I have 136.000 plus on my 98.
it is in the exhaust manifold on the front. the heat shield is tight so you just can't put a wrench or socket to it, the way it looks it will have to come off.
