The 240SX cars tend to be a bit more noisy then a luxury car. My 91 is like that but I love it! If you want quietness, get youself an Acura or a Lexus.chatel95 said:i have a 1995 240SX SE. can somebody tell me if it is normal for this car to be so noisy inside the car when driving??? it seems there is no sound proof at all when this car was manufactured.
Thanks, since it was my first time to use this forum, i can not find my first question so a tried it again. Anyway you are right i did replace the speaker on the driver side and did not fix the sound proof. Last night on my way home I open the passenger window, wow noise was loud. I need to change my front wheel hub assembly, hopefully after this nightmare when these are fixed it will be normal again.spooky240kid said:first off, im not trying to flame u or be mean or anything, but u only gotta post once about the question - somebody will get to it eventually.
as for ur question, what kinda noise are u talking about? Exhaust? cuz obviously, if you have an aftermarket exhaust, its gonna be loud... If you're refering to road noise, its possible that somebody installed new speakers in the doors and tore off the sound-deadening foam shit. I had an old POS duster once, and i did the same thing when i installed new speakers, and it was loud as shit on the inside. Pull off the inside door covers and take a look; that may be it.
I have a '97 240, and when it rains, the road noise is loud as hell in the back, but thats just 'cuz of the rain. Sorry i cant be of any more help.
