I bought a refurbished sony last summer that when hooked up with a scosche wiring harness powered on but did not put anything out to the speakers. I figured it was something with the stereo so i just threw it in the garage and put the stock back in, which works correctly.

Today I bought a new panasonic stereo that does the exact same thing, powers on but does not put anything out to the speakers. It is still hooked up with a scosche harness but it is a band new one different from before so I dont see that being the problem.

The car is an 02 Spec-v. Anyone have any ideas on what is happening?

Ok I got the speakers to work by running all new speaker wire to the door and rear deck speakers. This now raises a new question for me.

Is there anyway to still utilize the tweeters in the front pillars and the RF package sub in the trunk? The stereo is a base level sony, the cdxgt11w i believe.
