Hello all, I just joined here after buying an off lease 06 X-Trail. I must say, I'm very happy with the vehicle overall.. However, I am not getting sufficient heat from the vent, even after the engine is warm. The temperature guage is at about the half-way point, where it should be. I get minimal heat at highway speeds, but it blows ice cold when I'm stopped at a red light or driving slowly. The rad has plenty of anti-freeze, and it looks pretty fresh.. The car only has 45,000km on it... Any ideas as to what may be causing this? Your thoughts would be appreciated, since I checked with a local dealer to find out that the 3 year warranty expired on Jan 24/09.. Less than a month ago!!!
Thanks in advance,
:wtf:

Crap. That sucks about the warranty. Where in Ontario are you? I don't know the cause of your problem but can recommend a mechanic if you're near me AND you don't want to go to the dealer for a diagnosis/repair.
