Needless to say I have a Nissan Sentra 2.0 SE 2000 and I'm looking to change the front brake pads. I bought a pair of brake pads at my local auto shop and they seem to fit fine when I install them, however, I can't fit the caliper around the the brake shoes. The break pads just seem a little big. Maybe a few centimeters. I've pushed the piston as far into the caliper as I can. Has anyone else had this problem? I've had this issue with a couple sets of 3rd party brake pads. Any ideas? Thank you.

I pushed the caliper back with a c-clamp, however, I did not remove the fluid cap. I will try that and maybe that will give me the extra space I need. I will let you know how that goes. Thank you.
