the 1989-1990 240sx came with a ka24e 2.4 liter SOHC 4 cylinder and made approx 135 hp and 148 ft.lb torque

1991-1993 240sx came with a DOHC ka24de 2.4 liter that made 155 hp and around 160 ft.lb torque

1994 240sx came with the ka24de but only as a convertible and only as an auto tranny

both the coupe and the fastback weighed around 2700 lbs but the fastback was about 50 or so lbs heavier

you may be able to find a 240 with a limited-slip diff and super HICAS 4 wheel steering. some people like HICAS and some dont but the LSD is good to have

HICAS = good for normal drivers/autox's, bad for drifters!

HICAS is nice in the corner's!
If you think that you can't drift with Hicas, you need to talk to my neighbor Dan. R32 Skyline GTS-t Type M: RB20DET, VLSD, Hicas, DRIFT-MACHINE.

Amen to that.

I've had my 240 for about 2 weeks, and it's suprisingly good. It keeps impressing me, and I've spent about 1 week's worth driving (cumulative) a '03 :fluffy: 350z :fluffy:

Not nearly as fast and effortlessly slideable, but definitely the same bloodlines.

My dad definitely needs to fly out of town again.

240sxtricky, you will also find this in the form of the 1992 and 1993 model year as well. if you want a convertible, and see a 192 model listed, snag it. most '92s were sold as part of the '93 model year.

some of them came with a LSD(limited slip differential), this is similar to possie but still alows for good cornering. if you have a full possie rear end then you will not be able to corner very well because both wheels will spin at the same speed unlike a LSD that alows one one wheel to spin faster than the other. The LSD will still make both wheels spin for straight line like a possie rear end

i dont thinks so, but i could be wrong. i know on like ford trucks that they say that they come with LSD. either way 240's can come with a LSD, and you are going to want one if it doesnt have one
