I replaced my stock air filter with a high flow cone-style filter. Now I've got a rough idle although it tends to get better after 10 minutes driving.

Vacuum hoses are good. Some mechanic suggested checking the Throttle Position Sensor(TPS) but I don't know how. Yeah, I'm not advanced in the ways of the auto mechanics.

Thanks.

Thanks. Right. The MAF is plugged in.

Also, I've not gotten any "check engine" lite coming on either.

What's with the 1993, early Sentra's that when I ask Autozone/Checkers, etc. about reading engine computer they say they can't read them. That they're "older" and their readers can't do that?

Thanks.

you dont need a reader to read the check engine lights. Nissan made it simple to do it yourself without any tools.
