I have a 92 SE-R with a new JDM SR20DE in it. When I did the swap, I installed a new clutch, distributor, starter, cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs, air filter, belts and hoses. I also cleaned the EGR and BPT as well as the throttle body. My car has a very slightly rough idle(which it had before the swap). I brought the car to the dealer and they attempted to adjust the base idle and found that the IAC Valve was bad. I replaced it myself and it now functions properly. The idle is still "funky" and the car still stumbles a little bid when cold-started before climbing to 1500 RPM. Also, the car still has a slight hesitation when cold. The injectors, fuel rail and all fuel and vacuum lines are also new, as are the intake manifold gaskets. Basically, I have replaced nearly everything. The mileage is great. Does anyone have any idea what else it could be??? Please give me some ideas, as I am officially desperate!!! Thanks. My email is [email protected].
