Hey everyone. I have an 86 Sentra wagon with the E15, auto tranny and the electronic carb. I was running a Weber but had to remove it because it wouldn't pass emissions here in the Seattle area, so today I installed a rebuilt Hitachi carb. Everything seems to be fine until the engine is warmed up. Once the car is up to normal operating temp, I tap on the accelerator pedal and the engine races at 3000rpm. The only way to get it to idle is to shut it off and restart it. Hopefully somebody on this forum has some experience troubleshooting these notoriously tricky carbs. Thanks to anyone who can help.
