im trying to paint the panel around the radio, but i have encountered 2 problems

i cant seem to get the cigarette lighter plug out, do i just have to push both sides of the plug and just yank at it hella hard to get out?

also nearby the air conditioning vents, there is like a little cable connected so i cannot get the entire panel out

help guys?

all of the cables should be connected with little pop-off plugs. just take a close look and see if you missed the connectors...i distinctly remember every button having a disconnectable connector.
