anything that does 1000-1500rms @ 1 or 4ohm (1ohm would be the easiest to find)

hifonics brutus and eD nine.1 come to mind...there are a few others too

wow, didnt know hifonics was a good known company

i'm thinking of saving up and going SX12 instead of the SE12.
somehow i highly doubt my car ('95 sentra) can handle all that

i found the perfect amp for the SX12s

HIFONICS BX2005D Super D-Class Mono Amp

2000w RMS @ 1ohms

each SX12 is 1000w RMS @ 2 Ohms

is there a way that i can wire the SX12s so that its 1ohm inpendence?

no, only .5ohm, 2ohm, or 8ohm

1ohm is not possible unless you got custom dual 4's instead, which would be about $25 extra per driver

yea u right!! didn't do my math correctly. dual 2ohms in parallel is 1ohm, divided by 2 subs in parellel gives .5ohms. dual 2ohms in parellel added by 2 subs connected via series gives 2ohms, connect all coils in series gives 8ohms. silly me.

guess i need to send the extre $100.00 and go dual 4ohms so i get parellel the sucker for 1ohm resistance.

sub is $250 each plus 50 gives 300 each per sub x 2 = $600.00 for subs not including shipping

these subs better pound my heart to pieces for that money!!! and better be crisp with no distort. sheesh

hmm really?

dont people usually go 12s for the lows and 10s for the high frequency bass drops?

If you have good subs and a good setup you don't have to worry about that.
