Good luck on that $6500 quote. Please let us know what your total cost(engine, tranny, labor, and other replaceable stuff) will be after the conversion is done. Good luck.joez said:

Good luck.joez said:My engine is toast! Yeah! Now time for my TT swap. I'm getting a JDM front clip and need turbo rebuilds and a new clutch. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I can have my turbos rebuilt. Z1 motorsports will do it for $950. Also, does anyone have a good recommendation on a clutch, I'm keeping the stock flywheel. Also, there is someone on this forum stating that a NA to TT swap costs $10,000.00. This is untrue, do not listen to him, he must have some misinformation. Z1 Motorsports will do this swap for you, parts AND labor for $6,500.00. Finally, if there is anyone on this forum that has successfully completed a NA to TT swap, i would like to talk to you.
Yeah, He told me it was $10,000. Of course z1 motorsports will do a n/a to a TT swap, but with what trannsmission? manual or auto?dont forget the TTz also comes with air ducts in the front, a spoiler, wider rims, and a factory boost gauge under the speedo. I figured for $6,500, I might as well drop an extra $1500-$2000 for a real 5 spd twin turbo Z. For you it might be beneficial because you already have a Z. I dont have a Z.joez said:My engine is toast! Yeah! Now time for my TT swap. I'm getting a JDM front clip and need turbo rebuilds and a new clutch.
