NA to TT swap

My engine is toast! Yeah! Now time for my TT swap. I'm getting a JDM front clip and need turbo rebuilds and a new clutch. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I can have my turbos rebuilt. Z1 motorsports will do it for $950. Also, does anyone have a good recommendation on a clutch, I'm keeping the stock flywheel. Also, there is someone on this forum stating that a NA to TT swap costs $10,000.00. This is untrue, do not listen to him, he must have some misinformation. Z1 Motorsports will do this swap for you, parts AND labor for $6,500.00. Finally, if there is anyone on this forum that has successfully completed a NA to TT swap, i would like to talk to you.

Good luck on that $6500 quote. Please let us know what your total cost(engine, tranny, labor, and other replaceable stuff) will be after the conversion is done. Good luck.
With costs like this involved...it wouldn't be a bad idea to consider just selling your car and buying a TT eh??

Yeah, He told me it was $10,000. Of course z1 motorsports will do a n/a to a TT swap, but with what trannsmission? manual or auto?dont forget the TTz also comes with air ducts in the front, a spoiler, wider rims, and a factory boost gauge under the speedo. I figured for $6,500, I might as well drop an extra $1500-$2000 for a real 5 spd twin turbo Z. For you it might be beneficial because you already have a Z. I dont have a Z.
After paying Z1 to do it all it will cost you over 10k to get it set-up and finished. Do it yourself and you can save some money. Sponge is not lieing trust me it is not cheap and there are many expensive surprises that pop up.
ya jamez is right that goes with all turbo swaps, unexpected probs will how up, but good luck
dang all of my swap stuff for my 240sx has only come up to like 8 g's so far and thats including cost of car, hehe my parts list is gonna be some serious money to

i'm looking into doing the na to tt swap myself and not goin thru a garage where i have to pay labor out the ass. if i got the tt front clips would i have to worry about the ducts up front? and could i wire in a tt gage cluster? basically i'm trying to find out what it is that's bolt on and plug-n-play and what is goin to need to be done professionally. please no speculations. if there is someone who has done this swap themselves i would really appreciate a pm or email at [email protected].

thanks
