I've only had my 300zx for about a month or so now, it's a '95 N/A Slicktop, and I really don't know very much about Nissan's since I had previously owned a '91 integra and never really paid attention to the 300zx's. I was wondering how much $ it would cost to turn my N/A to a TT. I've looked through some of the forums and on a couple i've read that all you really need is the manifold, injectors, and turbo's. is this true? or is there more that needs to be done? Any suggestions on what can be done would be helpful.

Congratulations on the new ride!

Want ads, there you will find some prices of TT's. Buy a TT and sell the NA. Viola, NA to TT!

False, lots of time and money needed and definitely more required than what you've read.

Suggest enjoying your new ride until you find the TT you want. If it's not your daily driver and you have the cash, search for a front TT clip and enjoy the learning experience. Z

Nice, a slick top is a *rare Z* but as Z Rate said it does cost a lot for the conversion. If you do get a conversion done make sure it's from a place that knows how the Z32 works.

i also have something to add to this question, what if you have a 1991 300zx non turbo automatic and u want to put a single turbo on it? is it possible to just put a single turbo kit on a automatic stock car?
Please start a new thread if it's off topic?

That said you can fab a single turbo for a Z32 but it's not the most cost efficient.

it's possible to do anything with a car. some guy hooked up an engine in the back of his hyundai. now he has 2 motors in his car powering all 4 wheels.

single turbo kit is possible but it will require a lot of time, money, and custom fabbing. it's definitely not worth it if you're asking the question. just stick to what's tried and true: VG30DETT.

a good question is, will a VQ35HRTT or VQ37HRTT swap be worth it. notice how i didn't ask if it i was possible because, come on, anything is possible.
