I just did a swap on my 95 nissan 200sx se-r and when I finished my reverse lights were stuck on and now they don't work, maybe they are blown or a fuse is blown. I don't know. I know that the sensor in the front of my transmission got smashed and I am not sure if that has anything to do with it but I was able to plug it back in not knowing if it still works or not. Has anyone had this problem before and fix it. Let me know. Thanks Justin

The sensor you smashed was likely the reverse sensor. Replace it and all will be good. I could be wrong though, I've never heard of this problem before.

i have this same problem check the reverse lamp switch on the side(driverside) of the tranny... you might be able to get from the top but most likely you have to remove your tire and the plastic dust shield to get to it if thats the one you smashed change it and check the wires
