Around 180rwhp. I'm not talking bhp I'm talking at the wheels where it counts.redZ&purpleSE said:220? if you dont mind me asking, whats the stock hp then?
Im new to this fourm, but I know what you mean by whp, but i was hoping you wouldnt say something like 120, that would suck. but Thanks.JAMESZ said:Around 180rwhp. I'm not talking bhp I'm talking at the wheels where it counts.
A stock NA is 222hp stock? You said hp right?Shadow Z said:if i get chipped, Ash believes mine to be around 205-210 hp. we are gonna dyno it as soon as i get her going again this summer
Make sure to post your dyno when your all setup?Shadow Z said:yes the stock NA is 222hp at the crank, i ment 205-210rwhp, sorry
That is a matter of opinion, JWT has been around longer, but dynos prove that AshSpec ECU has higher gains. Some say that they arent very safe map, which is bogus, they are well within safety spec.Like getting your car chipped with the JWT chip. Best on the market for the 300zx
Again, a matter of opinion, most air intakes have the same minimal gain. An Apex-i filter or a Blitz, or K&N will be similar.Next go for a full exhust sysytem. Minus the headers. After that go for a air intake JWT again has the best for the 300zx
So why skip the headers before??then go for a pulley system. After that go for headers

What about boring out your engine. I was reading a import racing magazine. And this one guy bored his engine to a 3.2. He said he got about 30hp out if it.Shadow Z said:James is correct, and sometimes more.
Also, you are missing alot of power-freeing mods such as a lightweight flywheel, and a single piece driveshaft, even steel would help, but aluminum and cfibre ones as well. still you wont see 280 rwhp.
Alchemy-Z said:Im NA currently with a Duel Custom built Cold Air Intake,Jim Wolf ECU,Stillen Cams,Shaved Head,Polished Intake,Bigger Injectors think their 330cc,Cat back exhaust with Borla Mufflers, and TT Tranny with a ACT (single plate)
Clutch and a Light weight Flywheel....Probably going to put some spray to it and see how it does. but then im gonna save money and work towards a TT swap (never been on the dyno but they guy who helped me has the same set up and he has 233rwhp on his na) but if you really want to build for HP do a TT swap and go from their otherwise your 300 will never see 300 if ya get my drift
