Yeah the D is f..ed up. How you gonna let a team score 99 at the end of the 3rd????

Hopefully they will do something at home on Friday.
Didn't even know they are still playing basketball. There is absolutely nothing that makes it across the pond for basketball, baseball or hockey.

All I see or read is about the UK soccer cup and World Cricket Championship. in Football (the British version) Chelsea tied Liverpool yesterday, giving them a guarenteed spot in the Semi. I have seen parts of 3 Cricket mathes and I simply don't understand it.

Cheers

did you move to europe or something?
Temporary. I am on a 3-month assignment in the UK. I am living in a flat (apartment) in the upscale town of Notting Hill (same place as the movie).

Cheers
Well, cricket is like a really long game of baseball with only two bases, lol. Stick to the football games!
I understand the 2 bases. I am just fuzzy about how many times up at bat they get. Do they have outs? Is a Wicket and out? How many Wichets do they get? Last, how do they decide the number of sticks they put behind the plate (or whatever they call it)?

I can definitely say that a Cricket player is no where near the athlete or as capable as a Baseball player. The same is true of a Rugby player versus a US football player. Rugby players can't cut anywhere near as good aseven a decnt college runnign back.
