I mentioned in my "Dragged my B11" thread post that I had a limited slip differential for my B11. You might ask yourself, where did he get one of those, as nobody makes them for a B11 trans? The anwer is, that I had one custom made by machinist, [who I heard did them for Hondas primarily]. He agreed to make me one of his spring loaded "block type" LSD's, that go between the spider gears, and push on the spider gears, making enough friction to have both wheels grab like a posi. This is exactly what the Phantom Grip units are. Only I spent $550 on mine, and you can get a Phantom Grip for a couple hundred less, nowadays. Phantom Grip doesn't make them for a B11 though, and surely never will, as there is no demand for them. But they [luckily for us Sentra guys] do make them for the B13 trans, which is an RS5F31A. Which brings up a good question: Will the Phantom Grip for the B13 fit B12 tranmissions? B12's also use a version of the RS5F31A five speed. I'll bet the final drives [diff carriers] are the same. So you B12 guys might have a great priced LSD available for your car, and don't even know it! Can anyone confirm this?
