They didn't exactly stop. What they did was a confusing thing in '98.

The LSD disappeared on the B14 '98 200SX SE-R, but was present on the B14 '98 - '99 Sentra SE Limited Editions and the B15 '00 - '01 Sentra SE with PP (Performance Package).

Funny that you mention the 98-99 Sentra SE's. I have a 98 SE and it does not have a LSD in it. I have just gone through my SECOND set of spider gears in the differential and didn't feel like fixing this tranny or buying a whole new diff, although a aftermarket diff would be the best way to go in my opinion. What I did was I got a tranny from a 98 SER to replace it. It just happened that it doesn't have a LSD in it either, so you have just told me.

I guess I am stuck "one wheel squeelin' it" again. Thanks for the help.

'98 - '99 SE Limited cars did not have VLSD. The VLSD was not an option in a Sentra chassis until 2000.

He has a NISMO LSD that he added.

BTW, Jason has a '99

Oh yea, that's right! My bad, I completely forgot about the NISMO part :D. Speaking of which, I gotta pm him and ask him when he's going to start showing up with his '94 at the tracks this year. Shumacher did a good job with that thing!
