Hey guys sup. well im quite a delema....
i just found out that i can get my hands on an sr20 non turbo for about 400 bucks and now im questioning my plan of boost...
what do u think should i go the magical boost way or just swap for sr20?

oh yeah i have a 97 ga right now
with CAI,Custom Exhaust,and the worst heders anyone could buy...

It's actually much easier to swap in a N/A SR20 then turbo it later than swapping in a DET first.

easier yes.. but to turbo it cost more cuz u gotta change your internals to handle all the boost meanin more money. IMO that is

not really, stock engine with 10psi would make a pretty quick and reliable street car assuming u have good management. whats really going to cost u $ when u swap is all the trips to the hardware and autoparts store for the little things. not to mention sourcing tranny/axles/ecu/harness...etc

just boost ur 1.6;) those engines are cheap to replace.
