I've seen that somewhere before and it is so tempting. Too bad it isn't street-legal. The turbo head does look nice on there!!

Looks like it has aftermarket headers to go with the turbo head. Probably something around 80-90hp. Dunno what else it has

That is just a e-15t valve cover guys. I doubt that he is using the turbo head. You guys should check out how he did his air intake, pretty interesting.

Anyone know what coilovers he was running?

also did anyone happen to notice that he was running a e-series motor in a sports coupe? I have never seen one with an e series, they are all ga16 as far as i know.

Wouldn't an '87 coupe have the e-series engine too??? The GA16i didn't come out until the end of '88

You are absolutely correct Ricebox! The sentra coupe/fastback came with the E16s in 1987, the E16i in 1988 and the GA16i in 1989 respectfully. Just food for thought, the sunnys in Japan (Sentra's US equivalent) came with a CA16de for 1986 which was the beginning of the squared body and also had power windows, power moon roof and split 60/40 rear seats. I tried to buy one before I left, but I was transferred to Pearl Harbor Hawaii for medical reasons too soon.

The E16s is carbureted and the E16i is throttle-body injected. We got the E16s in 1987 and they went to fuel injection in 1988. I had two 1987 GXE's and they both were E16s'.

LOL:D I agree........All the E series motors compared to the others are crap for performance, but big on reliability and economy. Long live the E16 powered vehicles and their owners........

*****Marty is right on this one. All Sport Coupes had the E16i. Back in '87, only the Sport Coupes, Pulsars, and 4WD XE wagons got the E16i. All of the sedans got the E16S. :)
