Hi There!

This is a continue from my previous post at "Nissan Sentra Water Pump"

Now my dad has replace the old Water Pump with a new one today. Now the sound is gone. But sadly this leak is still leaking

Here's a picture of the leak under the car.

If anyone has any idea of how this can be fixed please let me know.

Thank You!

Yeah, WHY would you replace a water pump if you're leaking OIL?

A decent shop should find the leak spot for you pretty cheap ($20-50), if you still can't.

I didn't replace the Water Pump because I thought it was the problem for the leak, Correction I thought it was either "Oil Leak" or "Coolant Leak".

But even so the Water Pump had to be replaced because it was making a sound like in this video here "Bad Water Pump VS Good Water Pump" I didn't replace the Water Pump because I thought it would fix a oil leak no.

But am just saying I wasn't sure if it was Oil or Coolant Leak If it was Coolant I was going to replace the water pump anyway because of the bad Water Pump that I had but if it was oil leak then i was going to have to try this "front crankshaft seal" and have the water pump replaced which i already did and now the bad sound is gone but the leak is still there.

(NOTE: Leak only Leak's after the car is turned off then stops leaking after a few mins)

(Also Thanks For The Help Guys)

While you're looking around under the car, it looks like it is extremely close to the same spot mine was at and my rack and pinion was pretty tore back, missing a boot and the other was bad. see if the boot on your rack and pinion is wet at all, otherwise agreed, front crank seal. Good Luck

Okay so this is still continuing.

I have replaced the water pump & thermostat with the gasket & gray sealant.
now the overheating problem that I had yesterday is gone.

But now the oil leak that I had before is leaking even more then before.

Picture's below of this.

and I have also replaced the radiator cap

Now I went to AutoZone for a "Front Crank-Shaft Seal" and they said like $40.

So I called the nearest Nissan Dealer. They said they have it for $13.27.

So I went there and I have this below.

Part Number:13510-50B10

Now I have yet to know if this will actually fix my oil leak but hopefully someone here can let me know exactly.

Thanx for the help!
