K first does a 94 Sentra XE have a gouvener or how ever you spell it? And does the new SER-Vspec engine bolt in to my car and the tranny? Just some questions I was wondering about.
Thanks For Your Time

Yes, most all cars have governers. I do'nt know what ours tops out at though? And yes the engine will fit, but won't bolt it. And that wuold be expensive as shit to find one of those engines. You can make it fit, with A LOT of time, and tons a money. It wouldn't really be worth it.

The governor is set at 119 on B13's. At least, that's where mine cuts off.

If you want to do an engine swap, go for an SR20DET- It'll bolt into the chassis. You'll have to replace the whole drivetrain though.

It is a reliable and proven engine and as of right now has more potential than a SpecV engine anyway. That may change in a few years but right now the SR series is Nissan's number one four cylinder engine.
