Just ordered a '23 SL, and STILL no wireless android?

Seems whiny, sure, but my 22-year-old has a base Hyundai Kona with WAA. What the hell, Nissan?

What's the point of adding a wireless charger - not a cheap option - if you have to use a cord anyway?
And better, even with an angled cord, a full-sized phone doesn't fit in the tray. under the climate controls.

And there. I have finished whining. I am told I will love my rogue, and I suppose I will like everything else about it...other than THIS cheapskate decision.

Well, NOW I am finished whining.

All that said, I wonder if there are any software updates available as a fix? This is not necessarily a hardware issue: there are updates available for a few makes and models of recent vehicles which link up the BT and AA. Anyone heard about this?

I've heard that one is the best of them all, actually. Thing is, what's the point of a wireless charge option without wirelessAA built-in? I've read there are legal concernsvwith Nissan's bative nav app, but online they boast of great connectivity and navigation options including Waze and Google Maps. Pretty cheap move, i might assert.
That at least is a super easy fix. You can order a dongle online to make it wireless. I did in my 2019.

Hey @meg8278 - thanks for chiming in. You make a good point. I just came from a 2022 Pathfinder SL which also did not have wireless android.
If you go over to the PathfinderTalk.com website - you will see all kinds of discussions about how well the DONGLE works as an add on in the Pathfinder. Perhaps that will help the folks here with the Rogue modification.
Yup, it's a bummer as i have wireless AA in my other car and it's great. I might also go th dongle route - i just wish there was a good place to hide it or stash it other than the center phone cubby by the usb ports.

We have a 2021 Platinum and it does have wireless Android charging. My Wife's Samsung S22 works but my A85 is not wireless charging compatible so I have to plug mine in.
