Hey everyone! I just embarked on a new journey by purchasing a 1987 300zx!

Here's the main issue we face .

The car will start up every time EXCEPT if you've stalled out multiple times, but the first start up after cool down (sitting for a few hours) is usually the easiest, BUT, when you hit the gas it doesn't have power and will of course stall out. I've actually been able to drive it for more then 10 feet at a time but usually it just dies haaha.

Just wondering what ya'll thought it could be :]

How many miles are on her and when was her last service?

Hey thanks for the reply! I'm at work so she's not in front of me but I think it was around 120-140k and I'm not sure what the service history is. The first owner was someone who was car savvy and took really good care of it (a brother of a friend) and the second owner before me only had it for about 1-2 years but I'm not sure what he did to it. (I'm pretty sure he did the basics, oil changes, air filter stuff like that).

The first place I would start is to read the codes in the computer. That should give you a good indication of what is wrong.
