i have a 95 maxima. I was wondering if timing is adjustable on it.. so i asked a friend and he said that the only way to do it is to remove the timing cover and then look at the alignment of the marks when u put the #1 piston to TDC. He said that by putting the piston to TDC the marks should align automatically but i dont think its that easy?

any ideas/comments will be greatly appreciated!! :banana:

ignition timing or cam timing?
sounds like you're talking about cam timing---- stay away unless you have adjustable cam gears (which aren't made for a Maxima)

neither type adjustable on a 4th gen.

im trying to get the ignition timing.
