Good day lads,

I've searched the web and this forum and I'm sure the answer is buried here somewhere in this forum.

To my knowledge the KA motor had plastic guides and tensioners, and there are replacement metal ones available. I was wondering did Nissan correct this problem and install metal ones at some point?

Thanks

I drove mine another 150,000 w/ broken chain tensioners, actually bought a used motor to throw in whenever it died.... sold it last year with 320,000 miles and the OG motor was still running , noisy but strong
