hey all, i know i have a post in the classifieds, but i realy need a valve cover for my 01 sentra se. i have the 2.0l. my valve cover has a crack in it and i need a good used cover. anyone know where i can find one besides the dealer, dont want to go their.

please help

You might want to try calling various junk yards. I just needed some parts for my 2000 SE, and the place i was dealing with was able to get the parts from a junkyard.

Try hard engough and you'll be able to find one. May I ask how your origional valve cover cracked?

yeah, i droped it, i was polishing it and it slipped out of my hands. bummer for me, i have it j.b. welded for extreme temporary

I guess the valve covers are more fragile then they appear.

Have you tryed any junk yards yet? Just wondering who the search is going.

I guess as an absolute last resort you could go to the dealership and get one. I would only do this after I have exhausted every method possible including fabricating my own valve cover .

ive tried all the junk yards in my area. i have mine j.b. welded right now, the dealer over here wants 350.00 and that is too steep.
