No kidding! $50 bucks is a steal if he actually knows what he's doing (and does it)!
A little saying of "if it's too good to be true" rings through my head.

This is way to cheap.
Does he know the amount of work this takes on a FWD and a Sentra/200sx is worse than average from the forum here. Is he learning on your Car ?
The Nissan dealer just quoted me fixed price $510 labor for a GA1.6 clutch plus parts. He said about 7 to 8 hours labor.

No was just trying to answer the guys question. $50 is way to low for a mechanic to do this, even a friend. If its 5 hours thats $10 an hour.

So what is a reasonable number of hours for a mechanic to do this ?
How long if you have done a FWD and RWD clutch's before but not a Sentra i.e. if I do it my self.
