I recently got my engine put back together after a partial rebuild. I had a valve job done on the head, replaced the pistons & rings & rod bearings. I made sure to make sure my timing was correct when I put it all back together. Last night I started it up for the first time & it seemed to run just fine. I had no problems with Idle & after it was warm I adjusted the timing to 8 degrees as stated in the timing guide sticky without any problems.

Today I tried taking it around the block, but to my dismay I found that it has very little power & bad acceleration. When I pressed semi hard on the gas I heard a couple misfires & it acted like it wanted to die. Also the check engine light came on briefly a few times, but when I looked at the dash board code after I brought it back, it showed a 55, meaning "No self diagnostic failure indicated." I could hear clicking on all my injectors & I have spark on all of my plugs. Anyone have any ideas?
