My 2002 Pathy wouldn't stay idled. So I got it towed to the dealer and they said the Idle Control Valve needs to be replaced, of course after paying them $800. Any I found the part cheaper online, but was told by a reliable mechanic that this needs to be reprogrammed by the dealer once its replaced. Can someone please provide me some more insight on this? Does the dealer have to replace it of can it be done else. Thanks
