breaker bar and a can of wd 40 also recomend leaving the car on the ground to loosen the thing because mine fell off one of the jack stands while my neighbor and i were attempting to loosen it...its a bitch to get off but dont give up
So is it just spining and not comming out? If you you could try a thin putty knife.
If you still cant get it out, remove the oil pan. You might have to replace it anyway. So I would have a junk yard pan waiting to be put in just incase.

im thinking about dropping the pan, but theres too much junk in the way :(

its not stuck, it moves freely clockwise and counter clockwise, so the break bar and wd40 wouldn't do it. thanks though!

any other suggestions?
hmmm. all i can think of is pulling down real hard while un-screwring it with vice-grips......
drop it and get a new pan...it took me about 45 min to take everything off including the oil pan

if the vise grips dont work tomorrow, ill do that, 30 dollars at a local shop...or new online for 85, i think ill go with a used one
Good move.

Even if you get that old plug out, you'll definitely need a new pan.

Learn your lesson about letting [email protected]$$ shops do your oil changes? ;)

Sorry I missed out on your original thread.
