I have a 1997 Pathfinder and I'd like to disconnect or remove the bulb to the check engine light. My hand won't go high enough so I don't know if there is a bulb I can remove or not. Has anyone successfully disconnected or removed the bulb for the check engine light? If so, how did you do it? Warning: Responses saying I shouldn't do it will be ignored.

I took the 2 screws out of the top of the dark plastic that goes around the cluster. Then had access to the 4 for removing cluster. Piece of cake. 5-10 minutes max.
