how much would it be to instal clutch

i have a 96 nissan sentra and every one is telling me my clutch is going out because when i get into second gear and i realease the clutch and acelerate the RPMS go up but no the speed and 3rd 4th and 5th do that also.. so i was wondering how much would it be to fix it and how hard is it to fix it maybe me and my friends can get the kit and do it our selfs...

new clutch kit and gear fluid about ... 200 do it your self.... about 800 - 1200 if you take it to a shop...

and the way you described yes its your clutch.. how many miles do you have ???? i stilll have stock clutch at 254000 miles ...
well it has like 143,ooo.. i just got the car this week and i started to notice it when i punched the rpms to like 4,000 when jumpin on the freeway atfirst it was turning off cus of the intake issues so it would lag then after that is when i noticed the clutch

Mine started to slip around 50,000 miles till I finally gave in and replaced it at 90,000 miles.
the center plate was maybe half worn, the problem was a weak diaphragm pressure plate.
Replaced the whole kit and back to normal but do make sure you put GL4 trans fluid not GL5
and 75-90
I replaced mine with redline MT90 after a few months of poor shifting.
I have a write up, and can give you a link if you want it.I need to add the file to the server.

imma save up for some Royal Purple OIl and Tranny to be on the safe side after the tranny cus i found out were i can get it done and i can help and watch for a really cheap price
