I do not know much about ecu's, but im pretty sure that the car would not start at all including the starter, fuel pump or anthing that it controls. I dont think there is a way to check it with like a voltmeter or anything either. Personally I would go to a local shop and ask someone who has maybe dealt with a problem like this before... I'm sure tht the starter stil turns over but the car would not start....
