yeah cause the filter is right under the hood so u can hear it, but you can also hear the CAI, just bend down and u will hear itSentraRacer97 said:The reason that the short rams have a more pronounced sound is because its higher up in the engine bay than compared to the cai which go next to ur tire. I dunno this is what I thought, anyone care to correct me on it because im definetly no tech guy.

I am done with finals tommorow so friday I am gonna make sure everything is on tight and oiled well and see if the noise persists..

Same here, and it tends to get even quieter with a header. The best sound is when you turn the car off, and the last thing you hear is the intake stop sucking. FFHHHHhhhhsshh.......
I need a new mod, dammit! LOL![]()
True, but didn't you notice a change in audible note once you put the header on? That is, if you did the header AFTER the CAI. I did exhaust, then POP, then header, then CAI (bass-ackwards I know). So I have heard about every different sound my car makes. The best is just CAI.... has the deepest growl!XtremE said:my intake is way louder than my exhaust, when i floor my car all i hear is the intake
