Hey, i was reading.. and i got a 97 200sx, and i am curious if i get the hotshot headers.. it goes from dual-->cat, to quad--single.. now i believe that it needs the catylic converter to cut down on emissions, BUt it cuts the air flow MASSIVLY, so i wonder, if you take the first cat out.. will the second still restrict enough so that it stops bad emissions... but then again, if i throw a cat back system on it.. it might also cut down even worse on emissions.. if anyone knows anything.. please help:eek:

Cat!

You should install a CAT. and they do not massively limit flow. You'd be lucky to gain 1 or 2 HP from omitting the cat. Just get a stock cat. from an SE-R, or get a larger one from Random if your planning on forced induction.
