Yesterday I was looking at my corners and I noticed there was a crack in one of them. I wondered how it would look if I took out the reflector. They look better than just stock, and best of all they cost me nothing but a little time and some silicon. It was pretty easy to do as well. Of course being my first time doing it, I did crack some pieces.

anything costing no money is always a good thing. if the start cracking more though i would go ahead and just buy the clear corners you can find them for about 25 or 35 bucks but i wouldn't worry about since you have them now

If you look at them up close you can tell they are cracked but even at just standing position (unless you are a midget) you cant tell. I love them. I think I am going to buy OEM corners and make them into clears and sell them for less than what regular clear corners go for.

Bad idea....OEM stuff is usually expensive, and the reflectors are there for a reason...night time visibility....and to look dumb. Besides, sooner or later people will say, "hey, I can do this myself".

OEM stuff is not expensive if you get them off of junk cars or know people. Night time visibility?? The reflectors dont help me see. They help others see me but that is why i have side markers. So dont worry people can see me. I would do it for the lazy people like myself, except that day i was really bored.

What about when your car is parked and the lights are off? Is there any reflection then?

not really but I usually either park it in my garage, or if i go out to a club or something i usually head in to the parking spot so the reflectors in the back are good enough.

Thats what I was referring to. But hey, dont mind me. My reflectors are illegal anyway....the rear ones are all clear (should be red). I did the corner lamp thing with my stock ones, and I did kinda like it better than my clear corners. Do it, but dont try to sell it.

i wasnt serious about the clear corner thing. I am going to do it for the homies though cause they are too cheap to fork out the $30 for clear corners. Oh well, they look better than stock.
