The E16i motor is weak in power. But strong as it is very reliable, Mines almost for 24X,XXX on it and it's still trunning strong..as far as mods go..there isn't much out there...exhaust, and air cleaner..etc but theres not a lot out there as far as i can find. :lame: I know
88s are rare for parts the most popular things are header back exhuast annnd a cam , mine always ran good till one morning it stopped running right after the first five mintues every mornin, only thing was it was basically 2 stroke, put a quart in every 7 to 8 days lol but maybe thats just mine
since this engine is so old now most aftermarket pcs are just not made anymore... you could probably find some stuff over ebay but not much... a few things still made are clutchs, short shifter (like the b13 one) strut tower brace, shocks, springs, coil overs.. engine wise, youll be on your own... mostly that engine need old school mods... its not an honda engine!! : CAI doesnt exist for it... its all custom fab... IMO the right way to go is costum manifold/or adaptater for 32/36 carb or mikunis, cams still can be grounded from Hisky or other shop, (good luck finding a) headers... and maybe get a E15et head....
