I have just joined, I,m Donald Lysell, go by Don. I drive a 2004 Titan crew cab LE which I just bought. I live in North Carolina and am retired. I found this site while trying to find out information about the shift pattern on my truck. It seems that Nissan did not say anything about the overdrive position in the owners manual. I was trying to confirm exactly which side of the gate is overdrive and which is direct drive. My saleman told me that pulling the shift to the left side is OD, yet that seems to give me a higher rpm. Any answers, since the service dept only suggested bringing the vehicle in.

Whichever selection of the 2 gives you a lower RPM is your OD.
