2017 Sentra S owner. Just got done with a extended warranty so I’m looking for minor mods and maintenance. Gotta get rid of that click in the front. (SB says lube the axle nut?).

Just got done restoring a 2003 Civic, but this is my daily driver.

Welcome! Lube and re-torque. For a Sentra at least you don't need a 4-foot torque wrench, it's only 105 lbs/ft.

Ok neither side has the ring that goes between the cotter pin and the nut, what’s it called. My cotter pin is pretty far away from the nut. I torqued to 105. Need I be concerned?

It's supposed to have a washer behind the nut, but there's no castellated cotter-cap on the Sentras. The washer is p/n 40037-1CA0A in case it's missing. The cotter is just insurance. If they're torqued properly it's almost unheard of for the nut to back out, and as you've already seen, even a little bit of looseness warns you with clickety-clacks.
