When I went to my car last night, I noticed the hi-beam light was flashing on the dash. The car was off, no lights were on... After I turned my car on, the light was still flashing... but after I turned my actual lights on, the flashing went away and it didn't happen this morning at all either. I thought this might be some warning that my headlights are going? I have no idea.

I searched the forums and couldn't find anything, so I was wondering if anyone else has seen this happen?

Hmm, one thing I noticed two days ago now is that the horn doesn't work! Could these be connected? Why would a horn stop working? The fuses are fine, the connection is fine on the engine side. I think there's something in the steering wheel that's wrong... but maybe it has something to do with the hi-beam crap?

damn...
you'll have to read the wiring diagrams.
the crappiest thing to have to do.

horns usually don't work cuz the steering wheel soft part for the horn doesn't connect.. or a wire isn't connected... sometimes continuosly sound off cuz it's grounding out.

the lights should be on it's own circuit but tied with the horn via a relay.
i think.

if it's blinking with the car off..and there's no vibrations, it's not a ground out prob.
the light in the dash for the hi-beams only comes on when the hi-beams are turned on...
is it blinking irradically or regularly?
irradically would be a faulty relay.. a wire grounding... a bad switch
regularly...
i'm stumped really..
almost as if something on that same circuit is sending a regular pattern and it's going to the light in the dash too.
i can't think of something that would do that though sides something like a blinker or flashers.

Is there a wiring diagram available online anywhere? I don't see Hanes books for the car yet.

The hi-beam flashing light only happened the one time, and it hasn't happened since. It was blinking with the car off, with no vibrations. I think it blinked regularly, but I really don't remember now. If it happens again I'll make note of it.

Thanks.
