Go check out the picture of my car, more specifically the picture of just the engine, look at my PCV valve, its not there!! its simply a bent metal tube that goes into my valve cover, it looks origional but it cant be because my motor has no PCV valve. the hole in the valve cover fits perfectly with this tube also.

Anyone else have this setup? or do i have an oddball??

That's how it is supposed to be. Follow the hose behind the intake manifold to the TB. That's where the PCV valve is.

the hose comes from the valve cover and goes right into the air box.

or are you talking about another hose?

On my car, 90 b12, the hose from the valve cover does lead to the pcv valve, which is burried underneath a mass of hoses and such under the air filter assembly. I am trying to remove mine currently to change it but with all that stuff in the way, it is very difficult to even get to it.

The 89 and 90 Sentras are Ga16i powered whereas his car is E16 powered. While i think that the airbox assmbly is similar there are some differences. I still cant find my Haynes manual to say exactly what though... Messy room  Ill scan the diagram as soon as i find it.

The one near the distibutor goes to the PCV.

LOL. It's so funny how us old school sentra guys work on these cars that everyone else thinks are utter pieces of crap. Even though under my hood it still looks junky, I still love all 90 hp of my Ga16i motor. The B12 is the poor man's import, and I'm proud of mine.

On the rare occassion I do drive the b12 around on the street, I'll always run into some snot nosed kid in a honda/acura talking shit. A few months ago i was driving on the 78 freeway and a primered down GSR pulls up even with me from behind. Seeing the b12's roll bar and a kill swithch from behind, the passenger just straight starts laughing and pointing. Dumbasses didnt pull up far enough to see the front mount intercooler. So I flipped him off, did a slow 5th gear acceleration to tease him and get him to downshift. He downshifted, I waited a few seconds till i heard his vtec kick in to give him the headstart and bruise his ego a bit more. Then I threw it into 3rd @ 10psi... Needless to say I destroyed him by about 20 car lengths in a matter of seconds. Then I slowed down to let them catch back up. When they did, they wouldnt even look over at me.

Moral of the story: He who laughs last, laughs the loudest. Keep faith in your B12.

Hell Bro, I gots mad faith in this car, this is why I decided to keep it all these years considering I have had several Nissans. I just wish I could find a shop to install a E15t up in here. DO NOT SAY Rosen in Virginia, I either called them & they will not touch it! Stock E15T, harness, fuel pump, ECU, & GOOD installer is all I need. I live in Maryland by the way folks. . . -Greg
