Hey guys!

Just wanted to share my success story with my 3rd generation Rogue. The chrome V-motion grille bugged me for the longest time, so when I saw a 2023 midnight edition released, I got excited as I now know Nissan is producing black V-motion grilles for this generation.

Asked my local dealer to lookup the parts catalog for a 2023 Midnight Rogue I found online, as they didn’t have the new part catalog yet, found the part number this way (below). About 1 month backlog, but worth the wait. If you buy it online, you’ll save a ton. Nissan Parts USA typically has sales over holidays, so if you’re willing to save even more, wait for that. Bought this grille for $170 after tax when it should’ve costed me almost $300+.

I didn’t want to go with plasti-crap, vinyl wrap, or a snap-on cover up grille. I wanted it to look OEM, and boy it does.

I can include the Nissan service manual sections for this part of the grille swap. However, it’s fairly easy. You just have to start on one side of the grille, start disengaging clips, and work your way to the other side. You want to do it this way so you can slightly bend the grille so you can get into the tight spots.

Part number is: 62310-6RY0A

Use VIN (black midnight 2023 Rogue): JN8BT3BB3PW184894

This grille doesn’t come with a hole opening for the Birds Eye view camera. There is another part number for that, please let me know if you find a midnight Rogue with Birds Eye view so I can find the part number.

How easy to take off and install?
The top right and top left of the grille will probably be a PITA due to where the pawls are located. I’ve included the service manual for the grille removal to hopefully help with the process. However, I believe the technique is to simply work your way starting from one side and work your way left or right, not top to bottom. Don’t be afraid to bend the grille a bit to get your hand to disengage those pawls.

There’s retainer clips on the top left and right that are holding the pawls in place. Simply use a set of small pliers to release the left and right retainer tabs outwards. The Nissan emblem is simply held on by two clips and one standard torx screw.

The easiest part about this process is reinstalling the new grille, just go around the grille and push it around until everything clicks into place.
